Whether it's in a family house or an office complex, the demand for convenient and flexible management of air conditioning, lighting and systems for access control. Simultaneously, it becomes increasingly important with the efficient use of energy. More comfort and safety combined with lower energy consumption can only be achieved with intelligent control and monitoring of all the involved functions. In order to transfer control data to all components of the building required a system where all components can communicate via a single language: in short, a system such as KNX bus, which is independent of manufacturer and application. This standard is based on over 20 years experience in the market with its predecessors to KNX: EIB, EHS and BatiBUS. Via the KNX medium to which all bus devices are connected (either via twisted pair cables, wireless, 230V line or IP / Ethernet) allows the exchange of information. Bus devices can either be sensors or actuators used for control of building automation such as:

  • lighting
  • shading
  • security systems
  • energy management
  • ventilation or air conditioning systems
  • signaling and monitoring systems
  • interfaces to the maintenance and building security
